Happiness IS Getting the DMV Employee to Smile
Today I needed to update my address on my NV Drivers License which required a trip to the DMV. It’s the day before Christmas eve and the DMV is going to be open tomorrow 12/24 on Christmas Eve and then closed on Monday 12/26.
The women at the window I was called to – to take care of my business didn’t appear to be having a satisfactory work experience. So I went out of my way to be friendly, warm, smile and engage her in conversation. By the end of our transaction she was chatting and SMILING!
I hope that I was able to share a little moment of happiness with her!

P.S. As I was walking out the door of the DMV I was able to hold the door open for a man pushing his wife in a wheelchair and to wish them a Happy Holiday! Sometimes it’s just the little things that I can do for someone that bring me happiness
