I Can See Clearer Now
My car windows haven’t been washed in a very long time. I buy my gas at COSTCO where the prices are cheaper than the usual gas station but they are all about moving the cars through the line and have no squeegees and window washing fluid to wash windows with.
I don’t usually notice how dirty and spotted they are until in the evening when the sun hits them at a certain angle. I go on about my business and forget about them until the next evening and so on and so on.
You might be wondering why I don’t just go through a car wash, well I have a cracked windshield and with the extreme heat here in Vegas the cold water could shatter it, so I avoid the car wash.
Last night when I got home from dinner I took the action to clean them. It didn’t take very long, less than 5 minutes total and wow what a difference it makes now.
I couldn’t believe how much better (dare I say happier) I felt after cleaning them. One simple 5 minute task is all it took.
My lightbulb moment was when I realized that by having dirty, spotted windows I’ve not been seeing life clearly (on a physical or a spiritual level).
Okay I still need to deal with the cracked windshield and I will as soon as my financial picture improves.
